How long do NYC permits last?
Your first permit will be valid for a maximum of 5 years. Your second will be valid for 1 year. You may be able to renew your 1-year permit for an additional year. To renew a 1-year permit you must submit your expired permit or 6 points of ID at a DMV office.
The cost of a sidewalk repair permit is $70 for up to 300 linear feet of sidewalk for any one property. The price of the permit covers the administrative cost as well as the cost of sending out an inspector to conduct a dismissal inspection.

Central Park is—as a whole, of course—one of New York City's most beautiful free things to explore, but we'd like to specifically highlight all the statues there are to see.
Central Park is closed to the public from 1AM until 6AM. It's definitely not advised to visit the park during these closed hours. Not only is it unsafe, but it's illegal! Just because you are allowed to be in the park until 1AM, doesn't mean you should be.
