The No. 3 ranked Oregon Ducks head to Salt Lake City to take on the No. 23 ranked Utah Utes in a very important and must-win situation for Oregon. The Ducks are sitting pretty in the college football playoff rankings, but if they want to keep their No. 3 ranking and remain in the playoff picture, they need to win this weekend against one of the Pac-12's most consistent and good football programs.

"They’re a really talented football team. They’ve recruited very well. They have a lot of staff continuity. They’ve done what they’ve done for a long time and worked together for a long time. They do a really good job. They have a lot of guys who play with power," said Oregon head football coach Mario Cristobal this week. "A lot of speed on that team; explosive players. Again familiarity from having run the same systems for a long time. Just an excellent football team. It’ll be a great challenge for us and a great opportunity."

Kickoff is set for 4:30 p.m. PT and the game will be broadcast by ABC in the primetime slot for ABC. The Ducks come into the game as one of the nation's best teams, yet they are being viewed as a slight underdog on the road against Utah. The Ducks are a 3-point underdog.

Oregon has shown this season they can go into tough situations and win football games. They've been an underdog twice this season and won both meetings, at Ohio State and at UCLA for signature wins. They've also been able to come from behind multiple times when they've needed clutch play. That experience should pay dividends for the Ducks.

"I think we'vegottenbetter and better at it, really over the years of just handling the road trips like a business trip, and the ability to cut out all distractions to pack all the things that are necessary," said Cristobal. "Really pack your intangibles is what you need when you go on the road. I think our processes have gotten better and better. We know we're going into a tremendous college football environment where it's loud, chaotic, their fans do a great job providing the type of atmosphere that you always look forward to in playing college football. But our guys are really looking forward to this opportunity."
