Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village (2024)

Parking was a huge challenge. After diving around we finally found a spot at one end of the hotel. We had to drag our bags a long way and went into the lobby entrance. Out room was at the far end of the other section of the hotel. we had to drag our bags again along an endless hallway. Our Savanna view 2 bedroom villa looked onto a small fenced in section of the Savannah. There were very few animals confined there. We didn't use the pool because the long walk to the pool and back to our room would have made us late to leave for dinner. The busses were few and far between and we were late for our reservation in Disney Springs. We called ahead and they held our table.We have stayed many times at Jambo House and love it. Kidani Village is a poor companion to Jambo house. It is a poorly designed hotel. On a positive note, the 2-bedroom villa was very comfortable and well equipped and equivalent to those in Jambo House

Most beautiful lodge. The smell is absolutely amazing. Like what is that smell because I want to bring it home with me. The rooms are super clean, the staff was nice and the grounds are breathtaking. Every little detail in this place is extravagant. The animals are well taken care of. I highly recommend. It’s a must experience kind of thing, at least once. I wish I could go all the time it’s that amazing. The gift shop workers go above and beyond. I as blown away with the amenities. So much to enjoy for everyone of all ages.

I’ve stayed at many resorts at wdw and animal kingdom lodge Kidani is my number one favorite. The building is quiet, offers incredible views of the savanna, awesome good, great transportation, pool is top notch and daily activities. 1 bedroom villa sleeps 5 with full kitchen and two full bathrooms.

While the room needs some updating, the outlets did not all work and the USB plugs worked intermittently, the sofa bed was saggy and the sofa itself was in need of replacement, the view cannot be beat. Service was incredible, from check in to the gift shop on location to the restaurants on site. We could jot have asked for better service. Having transportation to and from the parks is a perk that can't be beat. While Animal Kingdom Lidge, Kidani Village is far from most parks it allows easy access to Disney's animal kingdom park.

This was our first and last stay at Kidani Village. We were sold on the Savannah views and paid the premiums. Not worth it. Had a much better time/view just visiting Animal Kingdom Park. If we wanted to do anything fun, we had to find it outside of our resort. Even taking the shuttle over to Jambo House felt like work.Our room itself was miles away from the buses, elevators and lobby. Easily a 5-10 min walk to get to the bus each day. It was older and really in need of a refurb. Old appliances. Dirty carpets. Definitely better resort properties to stay at. Pool was good and our family enjoyed the time we spent there. Food options were really limited as well. Even the lobby shop was minimal. Wasn’t impressed. Luckily we moved to Wilderness lodge for the second half of the week. Infinitely nicer, more fun, a lot more action happening. Wouldn’t go back to Kidani.
